Virtual Speech & Language Services for Vermont School Districts
I’m Johanna, bilingual SLP with 5+ years of experience providing virtual speech and language services for Vermont school districts.
I founded ElevatED. to provide flexible, reliable, and effective virtual speech and language therapy. My approach blends clinical expertise with a passion for student growth, helping every child build the skills to express themselves and succeed in school and beyond.

About Me
I’m a bilingual speech-language pathologist who has been practicing virtually since 2020. Originally based in New York, I began working with Vermont schools in 2022—and quickly fell in love with the children, families, and communities I served. That experience inspired me to focus my practice exclusively in Vermont, where I feel most connected and fulfilled.
I specialize in providing high-quality virtual therapy for preschool and elementary students with articulation, language, and pragmatic challenges. I pride myself on delivering engaging, effective sessions while producing clear, data-driven documentation that reflects real progress over time.
My services have changed the way many families and school teams view virtual therapy—often exceeding the expectations of even the most skeptical parents and staff.
Beyond therapy, I bring strong organizational skills, timely and accurate reporting, and a collaborative spirit to every school team I join. I’m committed to helping students succeed—and making life easier for the educators and administrators who support them.
Why choosing Teletherapy Services?
Virtual Services are Effective
Research and my own experience show that virtual speech therapy is just as effective as in-person services, especially for preschool and elementary students. The online format also allows for interactive materials, engaging activities, and flexibility that often increase student motivation
Meet IEP Requirements
I design therapy plans that align directly with each student’s IEP goals, provide consistent progress monitoring, and actively participate in IEP meetings. All services and documentation are fully compliant with state and district requirements.
Technology
Most districts already have the necessary technology — a computer or tablet with internet access, a webcam, and audio. I work with each district to ensure the setup is simple and user-friendly, and I can provide guidance for troubleshooting if issues arise.
Students are engaged
I use a variety of evidence-based strategies such as interactive digital tools, visual supports, and short, structured activities to maintain attention. Sessions are personalized to the student’s interests and developmental level, and I frequently involve parents or staff to help with engagement when needed.
